Free Apps for Android

Free apps are what we want, so that’s what I’ll give you. These mobile apps are for Google’s android phones, which I put together with the help of a lot of tutorials and sample android apps made by developers that deserve all the credit. I used App Inventor, an app creation platform made by Google to help users with no programing experience built their own mobile apps.

App Inventor:

These applications are intended for bicycle riders or anyone who needs it.

Just follow the links at the bottom of this page to go to each app download page, where you can see the instructions, download, comment and rate the apps.

Some general instructions:

After download, on your android phone, go to settings, select applications, and make sure that Unknown sources option is selected. Connect the phone to the computer and select disk drive option on your phone and wait until the computer recognize it. Open the file explorer and go to the folder where you unzipped the app. Copy and paste it on the phone sd card. Disconnect the phone from the computer and navigate to the sd card and select the app copied. Wait until the app is installed and that is it, Ready to use!

Very important!

If you don’t want to use internal space of your phone, good news, you can move it to the storage card. Just, after the application is installed. Go to settings, applications, manage applications, and select the app, on the next screen select the button ‘Move to SD card’, and that’s it , saved on the storage card.
